What is my
True
Purpose?

"To awaken within the dream is our purpose now. When we are awake within the dream,
the ego-created earth-drama comes to an end
and a more benign and wondrous dream arises.
This is the new earth."

Find your true purpose

Law of Dharma

1) Seek higher self - beyond ego - ideally through 30 min meditation in morning and at night (or as often as possible)

2) Discover your unique talents - list three things you love to do and can do well

3) Ask yourself 'How I can best serve humanity' .

4) Everyday say 'how can I help?' rather than 'what's in it for me?!'

To read more about this Law and others Spiritual Laws of Success look at Chopra Page

These questions may help you determine
'Your True Purpose'

1) Ask yourself, if you won a 1 billion pounds / dollars what would you do differently in life.

2) If you had perfect health for 6 months and then you were going to fall off the perch / kick the bucket / drop dead, how would you spend that time?

3) Which one quality of your character, if you were to develop it further would serve you the most fully in life?

4) If you had a magic wand, and could grant any one skill or a ability, what would you choose?

5) What is it that gives you the most joy and satisfaction in life?

6) What legacy would you like to leave, how would you like to be remembered?

7) What one great thing would you dare to dream if you knew that you could not fail?

Find some quiet time to absorb the questions above and reflect on answers you have given - then at a later stage ask yourself, is my life in alignment with these answers?

If yes this is a great indicator that you are on purpose. If not, then I suggest that your answers indicate where your purpose may lay and begin to steer your life in that direction. The answers you have written have come from your heart and when we put our heart into what we do, we do it with passion and power.

Prosperity - Dr Wayne Dyer

Authentic power does not come to you from the aquisition of money, because without the money you would then be powerless. Authentic power comes from your soul, that magical place that is always within you.

Prosperity in the form of wealth works exactly the same as everything else. You will see it coming into your life when you are unattached to needing it. You will see it flowering into your life when you are in flow and and giving of yourself in a purposeful manner. Money - like health, love, happiness and all forms of miraculous happenings that you want to create for yourself - is the result of you living purposefully. It is not a goal unto itself. If you chase after it, it will always elude you. you will never have enough, and you will suffer enourmously as a result.

There are examples everywhere of people who have large amounts of money but are purposeless in their souls. Famous actors and actresses plagued by drug habits, committing suicide at what others thought of as the peak of their careers. Hotshot businessmen plagued by fear, wracked with ulcersm and ending their lives because of business failures. Divorce rates among the very wealthy, skyrocketing along wiht painful courtroom squabbles over who gets what. Lottery winners plagued with alcoholism and ending up bankrupt or suicidal even though they are in possession of unimaginable bank accounts. When wealth is the reason for your activities, and the quality of your life is based on what you have accumulated compared with others, then prosperity is impossible. You will be back at suffering as your means of enlightenment.

When you are on purpose, doing what you know you are here for, and forgetting about what will come into your life in the way of money and wealth, then money and wealth arrive in your life in amounts sufficient to provide you with a life of prosperity. And this is real magic in action. I can say this because it has worked for me (an me - Greg). When I chased after money, I never had enough. When I got my life on purpose and focuse on giving of myself and everything that arrived into my life, then I was prosperous.

Prosperity is not the result of following a strict set of gimmicks and strategies, it is a mind-set, a mind-set that is centred on your ability to manifest miracles. Whatever you have believed to be impossible, shift it around to create an inner prosperity picture.

Paramahansa Yogananda put it in these words:

Possession of material riches, without inner peace, is like dying of thirst while bathing in a lake. If material poverty is to be avoided, spiritual poverty is to be abhorred! For it is spiritual poverty, not material lack, that lies at the core of all human suffering.

But His That Enjoys It."

Success is getting what you want, Happiness is being happy with what you have

Asking Life 'What is Life's Purpose for Me'

As Eckhart Tolle suggests in New Earth

Instead of asking 'what is my purpose in life', it might be better to ask

What Purpose does Life have for me?

and then waiting patiently for the answer which may come straight away or in many months.

Being ready and prepared to recognize that inspiration or divine impulse when it does arrive.

Not Knowing

Be comfortable with not knowing your purpose!

From that open receptive state of not-knowing / inner peace will arise the impulse for action - hopefully right action (based on responsibilities & intuition - heart & mind - not based on lower desire / fear / greed / -ve ego / hate)

Also what may seem as weird now will fit into place later when you have a bigger perspective - spiraling jigsaw

"Be Still and Know.."

Follow coincidences & signs -

Coincidences or synchronicities are there to confirm you are on the right track (or in the flow / wave / Tao) - or they can be clues or pointers as what to do next -

Listen to your gut feeling / intuition / guidance / inner voice

If you aren't getting any signs maybe you need to ask the right questions - and ask for signs from Life / God / Angels / Higher Self / Saints / Ascended Masters etc.

You need to drive slowly to see the signs on the road. Slow your life and mental chatter down.

Pray for guidance and strength to follow it through

Our purpose and reason for being in the schoolroom of learning called Earth is to learn how to use our creative faculties of thought and feeling to co-create, in a physical reality, the patterns of perfection from the Causal Body of God. We have the gift of free will and our thoughts and feelings are creative, regardless of what we focus on. During this critical moment, it is imperative that we truly grasp the full meaning of that Divine Truth.

The expression is, "Where your attention is, there YOU are." Whatever we energize with our thoughts, words, actions and feelings we empower, amplify and bring into form. That is true whether we are focusing on the horror, pain, grief, fear and terror of September 11th or the unity, love, compassion, oneness, courage and strength that resulted from what occurred on that defining day.

CAREER / MARKETPLACE

by Jim Rohn

My father taught me to always do more than you get paid for as an investment in your future. Whether you stay six weeks, six months or six years, always leave it better than you found it.

Don't bring your need to the marketplace, bring your skill. If you don't feel well, tell your doctor, but not the marketplace. If you need money, go to the bank, but not the marketplace.

If you make a sale, you can make a living. If you make an investment of time and good service in a customer, you can make a fortune.

Don't just let your business or your job make something for you; let it make something of you.

Lack of homework shows up in the marketplace as well as in the classroom.

Where you start in the marketplace is not where you have to stay.

The worst days of those who enjoy what they do are better than the best days of those who don't.

We get paid for bringing value to the marketplace. It takes time to bring value to the marketplace, but we get paid for the value, not the time.

Here's the major problem with going on strike for more money: You cannot get rich by demand.

Your true purpose is not necessarily one specific proffession - don't limit your whole life to one job or relationship. We are living in times where people are changing proffessions more and more times in lifetime - very few 'jobs for life'

Career -
Spiritual Perspective

Do what you Love or Love what you do!

Help others doing what you love to do!

The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes, but in liking what one does. James M Barrie

Right Vocation - choose an ethical job that doesn't cause harm to other sentient beings

"Whatever talent a person has should be dedicated to the rest of humanity indeed to all living beings. Therein lies fulfillment. Service to man will help your divinity to blossom, for it will gladden your heart and make you feel that life has been worth while. Service to man is service to God, for He is in every man, and every living being, in every stone and stump. Offer your talents at the feet of God."

Sathya Sai Baba

To everyone there comes in some way the call of God, and it decides his life. This call may take various forms. It may be a question of the occupation a man is to choose. So much depends on whether he chooses the lifework of which his deepest self says, "This is where you belong; to this you are 'called,'" or whether he chooses something that promises more money, easier success, or greater human respect!

Reality
& Responsibility

What if your purpose is just to be happy with the job/ partner responsibilities / duties you've got right now - maybe you've still got lessons to learn, right in front of your nose?!

The most important person is the one you are with right now! Noone is more important than anyone else.

Whoever is in your moment to moment awareness, here now, is the most important - Listen for messages, limit daydreaming unless assimilating data!

What if Your true purpose is to be just be a shining light in your area!

Release great expectations of who you want to be - eg. great healer / businesswomen / man /

Ideally, pick a job where you are primarily serving others, doing what you naturally enjoy doing, and would do for free -the money, abundance and happiness will follow as a natural product.

Practically, you are responsible for living in harmony with your neighbours & developing your talents and creative abilities.

Spiritually, you understand that nothing is in your hands. You allow the energy of the moment to guide you in all things, with the awareness that this is a gift from Source.

Surrender, be detached and let God / Heaven / Higher Self / Life take care of your spiritual evolution.
But be responsible for your actions (thought, word & deed) and lack of actions.

Dis-ease & Purpose

Excerpt from Kirael Vol. II, The Genesis Matrix: When your higher self decided to enter an aspect of light called human onto the Earth Plane, you came with a life plan to learn a number of lessons. If your plan included a lesson involving a genetic disease, then that is something you wanted to experience in that life time. However, because of the energy of the Shift, you no longer need to live out the lesson plan of having a genetic disease ending in death. Instead, you may wish to expand that lesson by learning how to heal that disease.

Your purpose is to love and be loved

Your purpose is to learn, understand, experience, and integrate - trust, faith, honesty, integrity, forgiveness, acceptance, awareness and unconditional love and all the other virtues.

Your purpose is to experience and recognize the 'limitations' of the physical plane and experience polarity & duality - Cycles of Birth / Death, Light / Dark, Love / Fear, Separation / Unity.

Recognise the 'limitations' and natural laws and then transcend them. Realise that the only boundaries are the ones you set!!

After you have used the ladder / raft you can put it aside - don't need to carry it with you all the time!

Your purpose is to master all the levels of energy available.

Spiritual Path / Soul Purpose

Your soul purpose evolves as you do. Follow inner guidance and synchronisities. Your soul purpose is never static or definitive. Soul purpose is based on whatever brings you and others the most joy.

Access the most joyful states within your being and then you will begin to discover what your soul purpose is on Earth.

Be at peace with yourself - with who you really are - be happy and accept, forgive and love self. This will rub off on others!

God needs nothing, except maybe for more people to realize thier true nature - which is Love, God, Awareness, Peace and more.

The ultimate aim in life of every human soul, the Bahá'í writings state, should be to attain moral and spiritual excellence--to align one's inner being and outward behavior with the will of an all-loving Creator.

That each individual has been bestowed with a unique destiny by God--a destiny which unfolds in accordance with the free exercise of the choices and opportunities presented in life lies at the center of Bahá'í belief.

In particular, it is through the moral exercise of our divinely conferred free will that opportunities are provided for spiritual advancement. "All that which ye potentially possess," Bahá'u'lláh confirms, "can...be manifested only as a result of your own volition."1

In a poetic passage, Bahá'u'lláh described the actions of the moral individual and urged His followers to live accordingly:

Be generous in prosperity, and thankful in adversity.
Be worthy of the trust of thy neighbor, and look upon him with a bright and friendly face.
Be a treasure to the poor, an admonisher to the rich, an answerer of the cry of the needy, a preserver of the sanctity of thy pledge.
Be fair in thy judgment, and guarded in thy speech.
Be unjust to no man, and show all meekness to all men.
Be as a lamp unto them that walk in darkness, a joy to the sorrowful, a sea for the thirsty, a haven for the distressed, an upholder and defender of the victim of oppression. Let integrity and uprightness distinguish all thine acts.
Be a home for the stranger, a balm to the suffering, a tower of strength for the fugitive.
Be eyes to the blind, and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring.
Be an ornament to the countenance of truth, a crown to the brow of fidelity, a pillar of the temple of righteousness, a breath of life to the body of mankind, an ensign of the hosts of justice, a luminary above the horizon of virtue, a dew to the soil of the human heart, an ark on the ocean of knowledge, a sun in the heaven of bounty, a gem on the diadem of wisdom, a shining light in the firmament of thy generation, a fruit upon the tree of humility.

Bahá'u'lláh, like Abraham, Buddha, Christ, Muhammad and the other Divine Messengers who preceded Him, sought to awaken the moral and creative capacities latent in human nature.

Ultimate Destination

"Your destiny is to be a Buddha. A flower of consciousness."
New Dawn, by Maitreya Ishwara

"There is surely nothing other than the single purpose of the present moment. A man's whole life is a succession of moment after moment. If one fully understands the present moment, there will be nothing else to do and nothing else to pursue." Way of the Samurai, Hagakure

  • The only path is inward
  • The pathless path
  • The obstacles are the path

Tibetan Lama Chogyam Trungpa says,

"The goal of (spiritual) warriorship is to reconnect to the nowness of reality, so that you can go forward without destroying simplicity, without destroying your connection to this Earth."

Tell yourself often,

"I am here, in my body, 100 percent." Bring your mind home.

Actively be with what's around you. Imbue every object with life force and consciousness.

Alan Watts observes,

"Going indoors I find that all the household furniture is alive. Tables are tabling, pots are potting, wall are walling, fixtures are fixturing - a world of events instead of things."

excerpted from 'The Intuitive Way', by Penney Peirce, beyond words publishing

One also needs to cultivate alturistic intention, self mastery and purification.

your ultimate destiny is to become a buddha, enlightened, free, liberated - at-one with God - free from - samsara - the cycle of rebirth & karma

All the esoteric, ancient and spiritual wisdom points state:

Your Ultimate Highest 'goal' / realisation is - "eternal bliss consciousness" - simply to 'be', be here now, fully present, aware moment to moment, resting in eternal presence - not clinging to anything, mindful of the moment, awake, conscious and also to share this bliss with others.

just being - alert, but relaxed, doing but with a mindfulness, a bare attention - being aware of interconnectedness of life -

feeling bliss - happiness for no reason! Not lacking any-thing. Feeling whole / holy / fulfilled / serene / content.

This is not selfish, to the contrary. By being present we are fully accepting reality as it is. We are respectful and grateful for our friends, experiences and insight.

When fully present - We truly listen, instead of pretending to listen while we are thinking of the next thing to say.

To share happiness, peace and loveing kindness we first need to be happy, peaceful and compassionate ourselves.

In real terms the only path is inwards - to see the nature of your own mind. This is the only path.

Cultivate Mindfulness / Vigilance & Concentration (read pages on meditation, mindfulness)

From meditation comes wisdom and insight into our true nature, from clarity of mind comes bliss, from bliss comes compassion.

Sins and vices drop as conscious awareness rises

Virtues naturally flower

Wherever You Are, Be There
by Jim Rohn

One of the major reasons why we fail to find happiness or to create unique lifestyle is because we have not yet mastered the art of being.

While we are home our thoughts are still absorbed with solving the challenges we face at the office. And when we are at the office we find ourselves worrying about problems at home. We go through the day without really listening to what others are saying to us. We may be hearing the words, but we aren't absorbing the message. As we go through the day we find ourselves focusing on past experiences or future possibilities.

We are so involved in yesterday and tomorrow that we never even notice that today is slipping by. We go through the day rather than getting something from the day.

We are everywhere at any given moment in time except living in that moment in time.

Lifestyle is learning to be wherever you are. It is developing a unique focus on the current moment, and drawing from it all of the substance and wealth of experience and emotions that it has to offer.

Lifestyle is taking time to watch a sunset. Lifestyle is listening to silence. Lifestyle is capturing each moment so that it becomes a new part of what we are and of what we are in the process of becoming. Lifestyle is not something we do; it is something we experience. And until we learn to be there, we will never master the art of living well.

Below Excerpt from Embracing your puzzle piece" by Dr Joshua David Stone

Bigger is not necessarily better

Just because it is one person's calling to be a world famous channeler, artist or whatever, does not mean that they have a greater puzzle piece or ascension mission than you do! The truth is that there are very well known and very misguided people of notariety in the spiritual and every other arena of life, who are way off base and doing much more harm than good. Why try to be like them, or even to be like the well known figure who is in the foreground of public recognition if that is not truly your calling? Trying to do so, in actuality makes you a victim of 'Maya', or illusion, as world fame and recognition is fruitless or detrimental if that is not your true ascension mission! Staying true to self is the ultimate key to both embracing your puzzle piece and fulfilling your ascension mission. If you ARE called to the greater public arena, then following that is your best and highest destiny. If you are called to work behind the scenes, then that is your best and highest destiny.

We must each be guided by our inner voice, Higher Self, Monad and the Masters. The fulfilling of our ascension mission is specific and unique to each of us, and the signs that lead to our ultimate destiny are both right before our eyes and within the depths of our meditations. We are each truly designed to fit into the jigsaw puzzle of life in our own uniquely individual way. To be sure, we are all endowed with the necessary creative ability to work within our given design or mission, expressing it with our own uniquely creative touch. The fact remains, however, that we each do have a specific purpose, and the finding and fulfilling of that purpose will give us the 'fullness', joy and peace which feels lacking for the want of that purpose. I urge you all to let go of all preconceived ideas, such as 'bigger is better' or 'more is better' or, perhaps (based on your particular upbringing) even the belief that 'less is better'! The truth, plain and simple, is that fulfilling your ! own puzzle piece and ascension mission is 'best' and there is nothing in the world as glorious as this! I therefore urge you, my beloved readers, to stay centered within yourselves, and let the 'puzzle' unfold as God, rather than the negative ego, would have it be!!!

what is essential to understand is that no one person is meant to have all abilities or fulfill all puzzle pieces. The negative ego with its need for self aggrandizement will try to push many light workers to try to accomplish this. The inner plane Ascended Masters wish me to tell you that this will just create misalignment and cause you to disperse your true light and true ability to shine in the way your Higher Self and Monad would have it be. GOD is so infinite and vast that it takes all of us working together, which includes the inner plane Ascended Masters, to fill all the lenses in the prism of GOD's Divine Plan. Pick out the thing that you are best suited to do and focus on that. Let other people and light workers who have other puzzle pieces and destinies support you in those areas where you could use help or support. It is only by all of us working together in cooperation and divine alignment that GOD's Divine Plan can be fulfilled. Some are meant ! to be channels, some spiritual teachers, authors, psychics, psychologists, counselors, social workers, healers, dancers, poets, artists, politicians, comedians, nurses, doctors, business people, religious leaders, secretaries, scientists, musicians, lawyers, actors, housewives, househusbands, pilots, diplomats, car mechanics, computer technicians, gardeners and on and on. GOD needs light workers to serve and spiritually lead in every single area of Earth life. It is not what you do that is important, it is to bring the attitude of spiritual service into whatever you do, whether you are doing a professional job or are away from a professional job. Who cares if one is a world famous channel or spiritual teacher if the negative ego is the guiding force behind their motives.

On the other hand, if you are called by your soul or Monad to the forefront of spiritual leadership, then by all means follow that calling, however, do so from a place of total purity and total egolessness.

GOD could be likened to the Sun which shines down upon the forest and creates beams of sunlight upon the forest floor. We each are a beam or ray of GOD's infinite Light. Let us not try to be a beam of light that is in truth not what GOD created us to be. Let us instead see all the beams of light stemming from the same source, all being of equal value and importance. GOD's Divine Plan cannot be completed unless each and every single person on planet Earth fulfills their puzzle piece as GOD would have it be!

Actualizing our Life Purpose
by Dhyani Ywahoo

How to establish the priorities in your life, to make the right order?

The first priority in life is to be true to the creative principle within yourself -- to recognize that you have the gift of life and to be a caretaker of that gift. Second is the responsibility to your parents, your family, and your friends -- to see the best within them. To call forth the best within others, to understand your special purpose and reason for life, and not to give away what you know until you are certain it will grow -- that is important. How to be sure of your purpose? Look at what comes easily. What are the gifts that most easily manifest in your life in this present moment? What are the areas that you feel called to work in? Are the skills there or not? When do you feel the most clear flow of energy? What part of the Earth are you comfortable upon?

As we analyze that energy, as we analyze the sense of fullness and relaxation in the heart and the sense of feeling strong or weak, we are more able to make a clear determination of what our particular skills are and what areas we are to develop further in this lifetime. Sometimes we have four or five purposes in one life. Some people flower swiftly and realize many accomplishments. Others are like some very rare orchid, slowly developing and blossoming, almost in secret, and then years and years later, when people have forgotten that the seed was planted there, it flowers. So we needn't be concerned about when or how we recognize ourselves to please others. We understand our true entity in accordance with our life purpose and the unfoldment of our own vision and the accumulations of thought force around us from this and other lifetimes. The wise person goes to the heart of the matter, examining the heart of his or her own nature.

First responsibility: to know yourself, understand your own mind. Knowledge of self is knowledge of will, the clear intention to be, seeing its threads as it weaves through all aspects of life. And it is each one's responsibility to understand one's family, one's relatives. Understanding of your family is recognition of the lunar and solar energy within yourself, the positive, the negative, the mother, the father -- and how within the center of your spine there is emptiness and the potential of the childlike wisdom body coming forth. Your relationship with your co-workers and your clan is also very important, and the land you live in, and the nation.

As you more finely tune your concentration of mind upon manifesting your potential in a creative and harmonious way, there is the reciprocity of the universe saying, "That is good". For the young college student, it is the unexpected grant; for the business person, it may be people saying, "I want that product". Always the universe is responding to our question, "This is good, this is correct", or perhaps, "Wait upon that". So we don't make a decision alone. We make our decision in relationship to the world around us. How is my duty as an individual, how are my gifts as an individual benefiting the world? How is it coming back? Can I write something that will help the people?

Sometimes we are aware of our gifts and wonder what we will need to bring them clear. How to turn aside what obscures our great potential? This is very important. Here you may call upon the creative power of ritual. Make a special place, a shrine area, a praying place, a studying place, observing your own nature and all of the world from that place. Make offerings of sage and sweetgrass or frankincense and myrrh, whatever is good for you, to clarify the space. In the mind's eye, in the heart's eye, surround the area with light, that you may have clear direction, clear connection with the seed of your perfect mind. Then look and see if there are certain attitudes of mind that stand in the way.

Sometimes people are afraid of success; that is a common fear. How to overcome this fear of success, of accomplishing your goal? That is laziness, actually, because you know you can accomplish, but all these little ifs and what-nots come up. How to overcome those ifs and what-nots? How is it that we have lost our self-empowerment? How is it that we have lost the essential peace that is within each of us? What are the attitudes and thoughts that stand in the way of our seeing clearly that which we are? In the Native American way of understanding, the first illusion we are faced with is the illusion of pride, of superior and inferior. In the circle all things are related, neither up nor down.

Nothing is alone; everything is together. We are in the family of life. Each of us is carrying that spark of will, that spark of clear mind. We each have a special purpose and reason for being here in this time. To uncover that sacred purpose we take a vision quest, a journey within. In a journey to the Temple of Understanding we can clarify our understanding and come to true knowing of our gift and purpose in this time.

The Temple of Understanding is within us and all around. Within this temple there is a great library where the records of all things are kept. The library is a study room for each and every one of us, in which we have stored away all the programs of our expression in this life and the other lives that are coexisting. As you look, you want first to affirm the purpose of being here, to do good, and then to look at the patterns of living that have been moving you through this life, to see if they are in harmony with your primary purpose in this lifetime. If they are not, there is a fire that always burns and never smokes, there within the temple. This fire is where the old patterns are to be thrown as we write out a new model of consciousness, a very clear affirmation of our purpose.

If we sense fear in ourselves about meeting our divine qualities and the power of our being, the creative force, we want to take that script and burn it and write a new one, a script that says, "I will be all that I am to be and will manifest all of my gifts." It is also good to look at relationships, to see how we share with other people. Where are the points of least resistance and clearest communication? Affirm those bridges, those fibers of life. And the obstructions, the attitudes and patterns of relationship that stand in the way of your fully manifesting your potential, they are to be taken down, released, offered to the fire.

Basically, there are seven kinds of human beings, that is how the Tsalagi people have said. There is the person who is moving along the line of will; that may be the timekeeper, the drummer.

There is the Peacekeeper, the White Chief who never sheds blood; that is the person along the compassionate way, the one who always seeks to bring peace and turn aside anger through prayer and generous actions.

There is the one who builds through envisioning, the one who sees along the golden light of clear mind and brings forth with hand and word and action what is beneficial to all.

Then there are the builders of lovely places, who bring the dream into solid formation for the benefit of all and who have a way of understanding and communicating along the entire stream of the clan mind, the group mind.

And there are the scientists, the ones who have looked at the particulars, who have watched very carefully to see, "Oh, this and this together has a certain effect upon the environment, this and this together brings forth the wisdom of bioresonance; the mountain man has lofty thoughts, and the man by the shore has the wisdom of the waves." This is the science of bioresonance, seeing the particular wisdom within each one and recognizing that it is all one.

And there is the person who understands the wisdom of the heart, one who is devoted to the ideal, to bringing forth for the benefit of all beings what is good. This one is concerned, not with science, not with the how, but just with being and doing, complete devotion for the benefit of all the people.

Then there is the shaker, the transformer, the lifeforce maker. That is one who shakes aside old thought forms, turning aside what needs to be turned aside. That is the person who wears the amethyst; that is the person who glows with the violet flame.

Each of us at some point in our life is radiating and resonating according to those different rays. As we come to complete integration we make a decision: Will we continue our work for just our own enlightenment alone, or will we continue to work for the benefit of all beings? Will we continue on Earth, or shall we become the seed of a future life, a future planet?

These islands in times of confusion, these beings who decide to make a way station for the expanding mind, they are very wondrous teachers. My teacher, my grandmother Nellie, she has become a planet. Her heart was so big, her prayers were so pure. Always she brought people home to eat with her, and sometimes her children and others would say, "Why is this?" And she would look and smile and say, "Have you enough, my dear?" She was reminding us of the abundant universe and the power of compassion. The gift of giving is the gift of receiving. So it was her path to carry her way beyond this time to create a resting place for those minds that have expanded beyond the learning of the Earth. And others decide to stay on Earth until the last person, the last being, recognizes and understands the Mystery of life.

Be aware of the power of mind, remember that we are all in process, unfolding, and let yourself know freedom from the suffering of doubt. We can choose, we can weave; we hold the form, we dance it, and the moment comes when it is recalled in each of us. We are human beings. We can live in harmony and dignity. We can make peace, we empower ourselves to be peaceful. That is an affirmation, that is a hope, that is a vision. By the power of its sound it is a reality. May our hearts ever recognize the clear light of mind. Let us affirm our wholeness as human beings. Let us affirm the mode of complementary resolution in ourselves and in all our relationships. Let us honor the light of clear mind in each one we meet. The Beauty Path, the Great Peace, is the meeting of ourselves, the perception of our minds, and the cessation of those waves and thought forms that create discord. Let us sow the seed of peace in all our actions, thoughts, and words. Let us renew the sacred hoop.

Choose an Inner Purpose

Choose to develop your inner talents and creative abilities

Rekindle a hobby, or find out what you enjoyed about your hobbies

Everybody likes a calm serene person.

So isn't that a worthwhile direction to aim for? - it's inevitable so you might as well start sooner rather than later

Worthwhile Goals:

All with an alturistic intention ie. for the good of all sentient beings, for highest good of all

Ultimate Goals

(How?! through developing meditation, ethics and wisdom - see related pages)

Specifically through cultivating an alturistic intention and cultivating mindfulness

Virtues:

To reach there one needs to purify and master one's thoughts, actions, words etc.

When we are peaceful and our minds quiten - we see things more clearly and develop prajna-wisdom - transcendental wisdom - which helps us live life more joyously and without reacting all the time out of negative ego, and instead respond from our intuitive voice.

Start by meditating - focus on your breath for a few minutes

see pages on virtue, Christ / Buddha - consciousness, service to others

Also commune with nature and ask for signs

FOCUS:

Think about what you want, not what you don't want. Guard Your thoughts carefully, because they create your experiences. Sometimes it seems that our thoughts choose us, but this is never the case. We always choose our thoughts-every moment. Our thoughts always have an effect, and there are no neutral thoughts. One-half second before you hold a thought, you decide to hold it. So, with practice, you learn to monitor and alter your thoughts. This is the equivalent of putting your hands on the steering wheel of life.

You may believe that your concentration abilities are impaired, yet the fallible mind of God is within your own mind. You can experience remarkable feats of concentration by affirming:
"I am now able to focus my mind at will. I hold only loving thoughts, and my angels act as my gatekeepers in establishing a steady stream of thoughts of love."
